【摘要】:Thisguideprovidesassistanceinlocatingtestmethodsfordeterminingthecombustionpropertiesofplasticsusedforvariousapplications.ThisguideincludesstandardizedNorthAmericanandglobaltestmethodspromulgatedbyASTM,CSA,NFPA,SAE,UnderwritersLaboratories,NorthAmericanGovernmentAgencies,IEC,andISO.Itdoesnotincludeindustrialtests,userspecificationtests,nornonstandardtestmethods.Thislistoftestsisnotexhaustiveandtheusermustassumeothertestsmayexistforspecificmaterialsorapplications.Thisguideisarrangedaccordingtoproductsandsystems.Thetestmethodsdescribedinthisguideshouldbeusedsolelytomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,orsystemsinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbeconsideredorusedforthedescription,appraisal,orregulationofthefirehazardofmaterials,products,orsystemsunderactualfireconditions.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninNote3.Note1-ThereisnoISOstandardsimilarorequivalenttothisguide.Note2-RelatedIECandISOstandardsarereferencedintheappropriateplacesthroughoutthisguide.
