【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardgivesguidanceonmethodsandtestsforuseindecidingwhetherornotthehypothesisofanormaldistributionshouldberejected,assumingthattheobservationsareindependent.2Whenevertherearedoubtsastowhethertheobservationsarenormallydistributed,theuseofatestfordeparturefromthenormaldistributionmaybeusefulorevennecessary.Inthecaseofrobustmethods,however(i.e.wheretheresultsareonlyalteredveryslightlywhentherealprobabilitydistributionoftheobservationsisnotanormaldistribution),atestfordeparturefromthenormaldistributionisnotveryhelpful.Thisisthecase,forexample,whenthemeanofasinglerandomsampleofobservationsistobecheckedagainstagiventheoreticalvalueusingat-test.3Itisnotstrictlynecessarytousesuchatestwheneveronereferstostatisticalmethodsbasedonthehypothesisofnormality.Itispossiblethatthereisnodoubtatallastothenormaldistributionoftheobservations,whethertheoretical(e.g.physical)reasonsarepresentwhichconfirmthehypothesisorbecausethishypothesisisdeemedtobeacceptableaccordingtopriorinformation.4ThetestsfordeparturefromthenormaldistributionselectedinthisInternationalStandardareprimarilyintendedforcompletedata,notgroupeddata.Theyareunsuitableforcensoreddata.5ThetestsfordeparturefromthenormaldistributionselectedinthisInternationalStandardmaybeappliedeithertoobservedvaluesortofunctionsofthem,suchasthelogarithmorthesquareroot.6Testsfordeparturefromthenormaldistributionareveryineffectiveforsamplesofsizelessthaneight.Accordingly,thisInternationalStandardisrestrictedtosamplesofeightormore.
