【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesameansofdeterminingwhetherornottileofthetypesindicatedin1.1canbebondedwithadequatestrengthtoportlandcementpaste.Tilespecificationscanrefertothistestmethodinordertoestablishminimumbondstrengthlimitsappropriatetotheserviceconditionsthatareanticipated.Separationbetweenbondcoatandsettingbed,orbreakageofthesettingbeditselfshallnotbeconsideredfailuresoftilebond.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheabilityofglazedceramicwalltile,ceramicmosaictile,quarrytile,andpaverstobebondedtoportlandcementpaste.Thistestmethodincludesbothface-mountedandback-mountedtile.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
